Dear Neighborhood Association Contacts,
Greetings again from SoMax. BloomingtonOnline has organized a discussion forum for Support Our Schools, which provides a calendar of events, links to relevant online information, organized discussion topics, and opportunities for people who want to get involved in solving the school funding problem. Everyone can view the information posted at this discussion site, and it is easy to register and contribute to the discussion. After registering, each person can customize how the site responds to his or her contributions. For example, Edit Options (under Settings & Options) allows you to control which, if any, automatic notifications you want to receive.
The BloomingtonOnline discussion forum will be the primary way in which Support Our Schools provides information on what is being done to resolve the school funding crisis and what people in this community can do to help. Would you please send the message below from BloomingtonOnline to your members?

We're happy to provide a discussion forum to encourage communication among everyone with a stake in this issue. Some of the tools we provide are:
1. Open access for anyone to read and follow progress. No membership is required for people to read the messages.
2. Discussions are easily found via search engines.
3. The discussion forum maintains a history of information and idea exchanges to help new arrivals get up to speed quickly. No searching your email or wondering what has been said before. It's all archived online.
4. When there are many replies, the chronological order is maintained by the forum, to keep the conversational flow clear.
5. If there is a new post, a daily digest is sent out early in the morning with a list and link to each new comment. There is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each digest.
6. We maintain the accuracy of email addresses to make sure you aren't sending to old mailboxes, or an out-of-date mailing list.
7. Videos, documents, and images can be attached to your posts for the benefit and use of others.
8. Using the discussion area is easy, and there are many customizing options to make it more comfortable to use. If you aren't comfortable with technology, we are happy to walk you through any part of it over the phone or in our office.
9. There is no charge for any of this. It's what we provide the general public.
The discussion area is located here:

If you run into any difficulty, just email clientservices@BloomingtonOnline.NET with the username, password, and email you want to use, or call 812-652-4431.
This is a great way for a group to maintain contact, discuss solutions, and make it easy to be found by others who want to participate.
