Annual Neighborhood Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Sycamore Knolls Neighborhood Association is scheduled for Tuesday, September 8, at 7:00pm, in the Childs School cafeteria.

This is a great time to come out and meet your neighbors, and if you wish to join the Neighborhood Association it is also a great time to pay your dues ($6 per year).

We usually have our Annual Meeting later in the fall, in October or November, but this year we wanted to have it early in order to accommodate a presentation by Bloomington Police Sergeant Scott Oldham. Sycamore Knolls has been a "Neighborhood Watch" neighborhood for many years, but we felt that it would be useful for Officer Oldham to share updated information with us about the "Neighborhood Watch" program, and about the strategies and tools we all can use to keep Sycamore Knolls a safe and secure place to live.

You can e-mail to me, using this link, specific concerns that you'd like to share with Officer Oldham, or questions you'd like to ask, and I'll forward them to him before the meeting, so that he'll have an opportunity to prepare responses or to gather materials or resources.

After Officer Oldham has finished taking your questions, we'll have time to share neighborhood news and to discuss other issues or items of interest.
